Tablets to Invade NFL Sidelines in 2014

Football coaches, NFL to Pop Warner, create a weekly play sheet to use on game day and I find it is fascinating to watch some of the NFL and NCAA coaches flip through their massive play sheets of hundreds of plays with multi-color highlights looking for the perfect play to call.

Starting as early as 2014, this sight may be no more. Microsoft and the NFL inked a 5 year deal that could bring tablets to the sidelines for coaches and players. This could mean that quarterbacks in the NFL might not have to flip through a binder of old school black and white game pictures, but rather swipe through high resolution color game images.

Old fashioned proven techniques are now being brought into the future with tablets and twenty-first century technologies. Creating football play cards on a tablet could be your first step to usher in the football technology revolution.
